On Hold

So I'm sure all of you have had to deal with calling into some sort of "customer service" to get something fixed or worked out. Well, a couple of weeks ago I had such a privilege. I called into my cell phone carrier to get some cell phone issues worked out. Everything worked out after approx 5 hrs spent on the phone and an hour spent going up and spending time at their phone store. Talk about annoying and absolutely pointless. I did find out how some people are idiots and came across as incompetent. I became very tired of hearing, "Oh, that's something I can't help you with. Let me transfer you to the *blah blah* department..." only to hear the same thing from the new rep as well. Yea.
So during this time I came across this comic that kinda fit the situation and I had to laugh. Funny how I saw it because I hate the Cathy comic strip because it is just stupid and a waste of time to read. I guess I was just needing something more to read during my lunch break.

  1. Yes...yes. I hate that. You spend forever explaining the problem to one person, then get sent to another and another re-explaining over and over the same thing you just told the last person. ugh. And all the while, it's eating up all your minutes. Which is usually the issue in the first place.

  2. I just had this moment myself! The worst was after being transfered everywhere, I got hung up on and had to start over!!
